About The RoleWood Mackenzie's Corporate Finance Team are seeking a Billing & Revenue Team Lead to work in a global fast-paced environment. This full-time position is based in Edinburgh.
Main Responsibilities

• Lead oversight in the month end billing and revenue close process (system process and analytical reviews) ensuring close deadlines are met
• Supervise team and manage workloads ensuring that urgent requests are addressed
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and reports
• Review customer contracts for compliance with revenue recognition guidelines and determine appropriate treatment.
• Review and approve billing/credits for proper revenue recognition as well as journal entries for proper accruals/deferrals
• Review and Maintain documentation for all audit and compliance work completed
• Assist with audit requests and special projects as assigned

About you and how you can excel in the roleYou Will Have

• Accounting qualification or in-progress preferred, or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of general revenue recognition guidance required
• Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel (including pivot tables / v-lookup’s)
• Oracle experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to articulate verbally and written, willingness to appropriately debate difficult issues; ability to think quickly and present to an audience
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities
• Excellent client service, teamwork, and diplomacy skills
• Adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
