Job Title: Inclusion Manager

Reports to: Director of Inclusion

Direct Reports: Inclusion Specialist

Status: Full-Time; Non-Exempt

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 / Annually

Locations: Los Angeles, Rosemead, Monterey Park, San Gabriel, Burbank, San Fernando Valley

Program Information:

Woodcraft Rangers programs provide students with Expanded Learning Programs, Summer Day Camp, and Sleep Away Camp experiences that includes exciting club activities from our curriculum library mixed in with camp traditions that have been around for more than 100 years!

Position Information:

The Inclusion Manager oversees the Inclusion Specialists in creating support systems and training programs for frontline staff who work with students with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our Woodcraft Rangers Expanded Learning Programs, Summer Day Camps, and Sleep Away Camp and weekend events as needed. With the guidance of the Director of Inclusion, the Inclusion Manager will oversee multiple Inclusion Specialists and ensure that projects are being prioritized and completed by established target dates and meet the needs of students across various program locations. This is a hybrid work position. The Inclusion Manager will be expected to frequently work in the office, in the field at program locations and has the flexibility to work from home when the schedule permits.

Overall Responsibilities:

· Ensure effective Collaboration between Inclusion Specialists and club leaders, Site Coordinators, Camp Counselors, and Camp Coordinators to develop and implement inclusive instructional strategies and accommodations, and modifications

· Ensure programs are structured in a way that supports a safe environment (physical and emotional). Promotes an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity for all program participants, staff, and families.

Collaborate with Site Coordinators and staff to develop and implement inclusive program policies, procedures, and practices.

· Conduct needs assessments to identify barriers and challenges faced by students with diverse needs.

· Develop strategies and plans to address identified needs and promote the inclusion of all participants.

· Provide professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance the understanding and implementation of Inclusive Practices, Person Centered Approaches, and Universal Design for Woodcraft staff.

· Ensure that collaborative approaches are being utilized with school administration, teachers, program staff, and parents to create Student Success Plans and implement effective strategies to support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.

· Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community organizations to promote collaboration and support for students with diverse needs.

· Help with data gathering and assessment for behavior support services to track and report advancement towards specific targets.

· Schedule office hours/ visits in accordance with supervisor request.

· Highlight models of high-quality programming and best practices among the team to elevate programs across the region and agency.

· Provide Director of Inclusion with updates and recommendations based on site visits, office hours meetings, and interactions with program staff / administrators.

· Comply with all applicable safety requirements and emergency protocols, including, up to date on all trainings and required certifications.

· Participate in staff development training as required, approximately 30 hours spread out over multiple weekends/intersessional days throughout the spring.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· 3-5 years of experience working in an Inclusive environment within diverse communities required.

· Degree or certification in related field including Special Education or ABA preferred.

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance

· TB Test clearance

· First Aid & CPR certification (provided by WR)

· Ability to travel to multiple sites.

· 1-2 years of experience supervising or leading a team.

· 2-3 years of experience leading a group of children in a school or recreational setting.

· Ability to use smart phone for work related business (WR provides Wi-Fi/cell stipend)

· Woodcraft Rangers will require proof of vaccination for ALL employees providing any in-

person work with staff or clients.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around a large facility/space. The employee is required to speak, hear, and reach with hands and

arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
