Woodfield Nissan is Hiring an Automotive Office Manager/Controller Near Cathedral, CA

MUST HAVE DEALERSHIP EXPERIENCE
Palm Springs Nissan is looking for the right person to run the office of a growing dealership. Must be professional and have automotive dealership office manager experience.
Responsibilities:

Closes monthly books and submits Financial Statement by OEM requirements.
Oversee a staff of 3 or 4 and perform tasks to ensure that financial functions are posted correctly
Review and ensure all schedules are reconciled monthly including: cash, accounts receivables, prepaid expenses, accounts payables, manufacturer statements, payroll administration, vehicle deal commissioning
Perform daily cash flow reporting, monitor CIT's, pay off floor plan and meet other daily & monthly deadlines.
Assist departments with new hire process including pay plans, compliance training and other HR duties.
Ensure bi-monthly in-house payroll is accurately produced.
Maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.
Assists outside CPA firm in annual review/audit requirements.
Recruit, Lead, mentor and coach an accounting team, reviewing of work, ensuring quality standards are met.
Assist with the training process and ongoing development of assigned team to ensure understanding and compliance with the accounting DMS, accounting policies, controls, reporting timelines and procedures.

Qualifications:

5 years of automotive Controller or Office Manager experience.
Strong knowledge of CDK computer system preferred
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting theories, concepts and practices and the ability to navigate complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Results-driven and career focused individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful.
Detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful.
Must have expert excel skills.
