Woodfords Family Services is Hiring a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Near Westbrook, ME

*$5,000 Sign-on Bonus*

Woodfords Family Services is looking for passionate and caring Speech-Language Pathologists to join our clinical team at our Special Purpose Private School (SPPS) located in Westbrook, ME!

Position Summary

The SPPS Program is equipped to provide educational and behavioral support services to learners (PreK-5th grade) diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in a therapeutic and treatment-based environment.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct (on-site) speech therapy to a case load of students and assist the program in completing the following:

  • Conduct speech evaluations as necessary for initial placements and ongoing progress assessments.
  • Develop Plans of Care for each individual student, and provide written quarterly reports and discharge summaries. Attend I.E.P., I.F.S.P., and family meetings as scheduled or required.
  • Provide training, direction, and guidance on speech therapy goals to the Teaching Staff.
  • Supervise any speech assistants in accordance with requirements outlined by the Maine Board of Examiners on Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Work in conjunction with Behavior Analysts, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Teaching Staff to provide cohesive programming to the students.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a calendar year, center-based position with full-time OR part-time opportunities! The weekly schedule is Monday-Friday.

$63,000 - $85,000 annual salary - commensurate with experience, education, and position status.

$5,000 Sign-on Bonus for full-time SLPs! Paid a 6 months of employment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders
  • Must possess good organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
