Woodfords Family Services has an exciting opening for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) School-based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) in Falmouth, ME!

Position Summary

As a School-based BHP, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. Individual goals are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion.

Through the use of evidence-based practices, you will help foster a therapeutic, enriched, and meaningful learning environment for students with developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.

Familiarity working with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and communicating ASL strongly preferred.

What we're looking for:

Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Monday through Friday; No Weekends!

8:30am - 3:00pm

$20.00 - $22.00/hour - commensurate with experience

$1,500 Sign-on Bonus - Paid after 6 months employment!

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED required
• BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
• Experience with ASL strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
