Woodfords Family Services is seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP) in Turner, ME! Current openings available at Turner Elementary School and Tripp Middle School.
Position Summary
As a School-based BHP, you will work one-on-one with a child or adolescent within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development objectives. Individual goals are assessed and related to the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and community inclusion.
Through the use of evidence-based practices, you will help foster a therapeutic, enriching, and meaningful learning environment for which students with developmental, mental health and/or co-occurring disorders can learn and thrive with independence.
Opportunity Details - $20-22 per hour $1,500 Sign on Bonus!
Turner Elementary - 90 College Credits / Ed Tech III Required
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- 8:30am - 3:00pm schedule (hours may vary based on school schedule)
- Provides support to 12 year-old male consumer
Tripp Middle School - 90 College Credits / Ed Tech III Required
- Full-time, Monday through Friday
- 7:15am - 2:00pm schedule (hours may vary based on school schedule)
- Provides support to 12 year-old male consumer
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social services, education, or related field preferred.Ed Tech III eligibility. Minimum of 90 college credits.
- BHP certification (course can be completed as part of employment and paid for by Woodfords)
- Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle
