Position Title/Type: RN - Registered Nurse – Wellness Educator - Full Time

Schedule Hiring For:

• Monday, 11am to 8pm
• Tuesday, 11am to 7pm
• Wednesday, 1030am to 530pm
• Thursday, 11am to 7pm
• Friday, 11am to 7pm

Pay: $36/hour

Woodhaven Treatment Center, a leading voluntary adult alcohol and drug treatment facility, has an immediate opening for a dedicated and compassionate RN - Registered Nurse – Wellness Educator. In this role, you will be pivotal in leading educational programs that promote health, prevent disease, and motivate patients across diverse age groups in their journey toward recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate and Empower: Lead educational programs focusing on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Collaborate and Lead: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective wellness strategies.
• Innovate and Advocate: Utilize your knowledge to advance our treatment programs, integrating the latest research and best practices in nursing care.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Licensing: Valid RN license in Ohio with current CPR certification.
• Experience: At least one year of experience in psychiatric or chemical dependency settings.

Skills and Attributes

• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Clinical Skills: Expertise in managing detoxification assessments and treatments.
• Communication: Excellent public speaking and educational skills.
