Position: Automotive Parts Inventory Specialist / Parts Driver

Location: Woodhouse Buick GMC

Schedule: Full Time, Mon - Fri

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Join our team as a Parts Inventory Specialist/Parts Driver, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and efficient inventory levels for our automotive parts. This position involves meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring our workshop is well-stocked and ready for action. You will also deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Essential Duties

• Receive, count, and store all incoming merchandise and shop supplies.
• Stock and restock bins with assistance from parts salesperson.
• Fill and bill material sales as directed by Parts Manager.
• Pull parts and other merchandise for orders that need to be delivered.
• Clean and box for shipment parts to be returned for credit or exchange; prepare necessary papers and ship to designated consignee.
• Keep all bins, aisles, and storage areas clean, neat and clearly labeled.
• Assist Parts salesperson(s) or Parts Manager in restocking panel.
• Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, parts counter sales, or shipping and receiving specialist before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Checks with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts needed.
• Delivers parts to body shop when needed and distributes to appropriate body technicians.
• Verifies that invoices match purchase orders for each pick-up.
• Checks payments received with the invoices for each delivery
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must be able to pass a Non-DOT Physical and Lifting Test.
