Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has openings for a Food and Wine Supervisor in our Kentfiled store!
Reporting to the Store Manager, the Food and Beverage Supervisor is primarily responsible for all service touch points during wine and small bite service hours.

• The Food and Beverage Supervisor is the face of the wine service area during service hours and must verbally greet all guests upon entry with enthusiasm.
• Assist customers with self-serve wine pour system. This includes instructions on usage, how to obtain/load card, and how to use the pour system.
• Must be familiar with all wines on pour, including tasting notes, region, etc...
• Learn guest tasting preferences and offer suggestions based on wines available.
• Take, ring up, and assemble orders for small bites during service hours. This will include easy to assemble small bites that pair well with wine.
• Offer suggestions on other food items that the guest may want to purchase with wine directing to specialty cheese set or deli meats.
• Adhere to ABC requirements and company policy concerning serving alcohol.
• Maintain area including changing wines as needed, washing/polishing glassware, clearing glasses, wiping down tables, cleaning floor in the event of a spill, and keeping area generally clean and tidy.
• Training other staff members.
