What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advancement Coordinator position at Woodlynde School?
POSITION SUMMARY
Woodlynde School is seeking a highly organized Advancement Coordinator to join and support the daily functions of the school’s integrated advancement team. The role will report to the Chief Advancement Officer and primarily support enrollment and fundraising initiatives in day-to-day operations. Support for event coordination and the parents' association will also be a part of the role. The ideal candidate will excel in multitasking while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor. This is a non-exempt, 12-month position. The start date will be February 3, 2025.
SKILLS AND EDUCATION
- Welcoming presence for applicants, current families, and guests
- Experience in administrative support, preferably in an educational setting
- Exhibit excellent verbal, visual, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Possess strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and ensure quality work
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and display sound judgment
- Event coordination experience preferred
- Competency in Microsoft Office required; experience in Blackbaud and Finalsite preferred
- BS/BA degree preferred
