Accounting Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION

An accounting clerk assists the accounting department with various tasks. These professionals process invoices, record business transactions, and manage customer accounts on any given day. Candidate must have a keen eye for detail, extremely organized, and adjust to busy daily work. Job Duties

· Organize and process financial transactions

· Maintain digital filing system

· Manage Accounts Payable

· Assist with clerical and administrative tasks

· Understanding of accounting principles

· Proficient in Excel

· Dependable attendance

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Reconcile and assist reconciliation of company credit cards

· Reconcile vendor statements

· Assist with accounting needs as assigned

Qualifications

· Accounting experience a plus

· Organization

· Proficient in Excel

· Attention to detail

· Customer service

· Data Entry experience

· 1-2 years of AP experience

· High school diploma or higher
