Woods & Co is Hiring an Entry-level Sales Representative Near New York, NY

Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading supplier of paper and hospitality products in their search to grow their sales team with 2 x Outside Sales Representatives. Based out of Brooklyn, this company has a portfolio of clients across the 5 boroughs of New York, across New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Selling a wide range of products such as take out containers, coffee cups, pizza boxes, commercial kitchen utensils and more, this is a well renowned and respected business.

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will work closely with the customer acquisition team, account managers and operations team to generate and pipeline further revenue opportunities. You will spend your time visiting cafes, restaurants, bodegas and other hospitality venues to present company products.

What’s in it for you?

  • $45,000 - $55,000 Uncapped Commissions
  • Train, car and fuel reimbursement

  • Only required to visit Brooklyn office on Monday and Friday for sales team meetings
  • Build and maintain relationships with some of the biggest names in the hospitality space
  • On-site training for first 2-4 weeks

What do you do?

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, including restaurants, cafes, and catering companies, to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the company's products, including takeout supplies and kitchen equipment, to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and functionality of the company’s offerings to potential clients.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact to order fulfillment, including preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with the logistics team.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sales with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maximizing company profit.
  • Track and report on sales performance, including targets, achievements, and areas for improvement, using Salesforce and other sales tools.

What do you need?

  • 1-2 years in Sales/Customer Service OR experience in a hospitality role/graduate looking for first opportunity.
  • A fantastic attitude! This is an entry level opportunity for someone who is looking to get into sales
  • Live in close proximity to the 5 NY boroughs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to get to / from Brooklyn on Monday and Friday
