Job Title: Business Manager
Description:The Business Manager is responsible for the coordination and execution of the store’s online orders as well as local business sales and deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Have a full working knowledge of the front end to respond to applicable guests.
  • Manage contact list for local businesses and review as needed to be able to maximize profitability
  • Monitor commercial customer problems to ensure a high level of response time and proper problem resolutions
  • Follow the standard operating procedure for outside sales as well as fulfilling online orders
  • Monitor schedules for delivery and order fulfillment to be sure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate delivery for business orders made both online or over the phone
  • Develop positive relationships with local area businesses and work to assist them with their grocery needs
  • Work with merchandisers to fulfill the “endless aisle” needs commercial guests, facilitates delivering more than expected guest service by searching for special requested products
  • Work with Support Center Outside Sales team to transition new local business sales to store level operations, ensures a smooth transition occurs for the new business by walking them through their first order and promoting exceptional customer service through delivery and order fulfillment
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma
  • Must be comfortable being on the service floor and on your feet for six to seven hours per day while monitoring Personal Shoppers
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a strong leader, overseeing an entire department of Personal Shoppers
  • Must be an excellent communicator and speaker both online in written interactions, and face-to-face guest service interactions
  • Basic mathematical ability (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to count.
  • Able to give/receive complex verbal instructions/descriptions to/from supervisors/co-workers/employees concerning store/department policy/procedures and use of equipment.
  • Friendly, energetic and outgoing personality with entrepreneurial spirit
  • Effective and articulate communication skills, comfortable with upselling to customers and Business to Business marketing.
  • Have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
  • The ability to read and write English; able to read instructions, merchandise labels, warehouse order codes, numbers, reports, printed paper invoices and order forms.
  • Make judgments concerning the placement of merchandise on the case/shelf/display, case opening procedures, extent of unsalable product damage, conversation with customers, selling of product, display of product, use of packaging materials for product, quality of product for display and ordering of merchandise.
Work Environment: Inside work with extreme variations in temperature, dust and humidity from back door/compressors/cooler/preparation area.
