Woodside Equine Clinic is an equine clinic located in Ashland, Virginia . We are searching for a dedicated, reliable, team-oriented individual to join our team as a Part Time Hospital Veterinary Assistant. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care to all hospitalized patients and assist veterinarians with work ups, diagnostics, and procedures. Duties include: monitoring hospitalized patients and reporting to veterinarian(s) as directed, collecting and processing lab samples, assisting veterinarians with diagnostic and surgical procedures, caring for equipment, cleaning and stocking hospital rooms. If you are the right person for this position, you will have previous horse experience, enjoy working independently, and consider yourself a night owl. Schedule: Sunday – Monday 1:00am – 9:00am.
