Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant at Woodson Dermatology in Henderson, NV. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting dermatologists and medical staff in providing patient care. Daily tasks will include preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, maintaining medical records, and providing excellent patient care.
Qualifications
- Medical Assisting skills, including experience with patient care and medical office procedures
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and ability to accurately transcribe and understand medical documentation
- Experience with Medical Records management and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from healthcare professionals
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred
