Branch Supervisor

Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank is a community bank located in the northern New Hampshire that serves the financial needs of consumer and business customers in the area. We seek to attract employees with a professional and customer focused attitude, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a team. Currently, we are looking for a Branch Supervisor at our Lancaster Office.

Responsibilities of a Branch Supervisor include:

• Participates in business development calls and is active in the community on a limited basis.
• Provides and maintains a professional, business-like atmosphere within the branch office
• Supports the growth and development of employees
• Ensures branch, ATM and teller cash levels are in adherence to the security policy on a daily basis
• Strives to accomplish goals set by senior management for customer retention and market growth

Requirements of a Branch Supervisor include:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Responsible for all staff in a branch office
  • Allocates and coordinates the work flow
  • Guides and advises subordinates in the more complex phases of their work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use and learn computer-based systems
• Knowledge of cash handling and office equipment
• Available to work an occasional Saturday/weekend
• Ability to stand for long periods as well as lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
