Woodward Academy is Hiring an After School Care, Lower School Near College Park, GA

AFTER SCHOOL CARE, LOWER SCHOOL

The After School Care position involves caring for students after school hours, including developing and conducting activities, and supervising students, ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure environment.

Specific Duties include:

Supervise students in a child care environment, ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure environment.
Supervise and help students with homework.
Serve and clean up after snack.
Discipline children in activities as needed.
Receive and respond to written or verbal messages from parents.
Maintain a clean and healthy environment for children by cleaning the facility, sanitizing surfaces, and putting toys and games away.
Other Duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to demonstrate patience and stay actively involved with young students.
Must be able to pass pre-employment testing consisting of background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Minimum Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience with children in a classroom environment preferred

The Instructional Aide / After School Care position is a 10-month, non-exempt position. The hours for this position are 3:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. EOE
