Responsibilities
Maintain accurate inventory of all towed-in vehicles
Account for accrual of storage charges
Ensure Accounts Receivable Schedule for outstanding payments from insurance companies is current and accurate
Verify insurance payments
Call for collections of past due invoices
Assist walk-in guests and direct them to the appropriate personnel
Enter vehicle drop offs for estimates in proper software for visibility by body shop personnel
Read/examine incoming material for accuracy and legibility
Get clarification, if necessary, classify properly, and file within appropriate file system
Start billing process
Complete parts price match when are received in the system
Combine parts price difference with first supplement and check for any additional body or paint labor/material
FINAL BILL RO's
Call insurance company for payment information
Obtain information regarding payments
Search for and retrieve information contained in files as requested
Answer phone calls, providing general information as needed
Direct calls to the appropriate person for inquiries and/or regarding repair status
Qualifications
High school diploma or the equivalent
One year of body shop software basics preferred
Minimum of one year of customer service and similar clerical experience
Excellent phone etiquette
Neat and professional appearance
Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
Efficiency using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Valid driver's license and good driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
