Work Train Fight is searching for experienced and professional maintenance staff to join our WTF team. Work Train Fight is one of the best boxing and personal training gyms located in NYC. You may find more details about us on WorkTrainFight.com.

Our ideal candidate must have experience as a maintenance worker or similar position, preferably in a high traffic environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to learn as well as the ability to problem solve. We are looking to add the right person to our team who will interact with clients, staff and guests in a courteous manner.

Must be punctual and organized. Must be able to legally work in the U.S. Must have the ability to be a leader, our company is consistently growing and we are looking for someone who would one day be the director of our entire maintenance staff company wide.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Clean rooms, hallways, restrooms, gym floor, locker rooms, offices, stairways...
• Uses brooms, vacuum cleaners, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, strip and wax floors.
• Dust and wipe down equipment. Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
• Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, and plumbing repairs.
• Empties wastebaskets.
• Replenishes restroom supplies.
• Replaces light bulbs.
• Assist in keeping inventory lists up to date.
• Assist officials, staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
