Responsibilities for the Commercial Refrigeration Maintenance Technician : Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems (walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, ice machines).

Inspect and test refrigeration system components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans) for proper operation. Clean coils, lubricate moving parts and replace air filters.

Diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration system malfunctions. Identify and repair leaks, electrical problems, and mechanical issues.

Replace worn or damaged parts and components. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance. Communicate effectively with customers to explain problems and solutions.

Requirements of the Commercial Refrigeration Technician : At least 1 year working with commercial systems. Experience cleaning ice machines, condensers and drains.

Will assist with acquiring EPA Certification. A solid understanding of how refrigeration systems and their parts work. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Must own hand tools. Ability to work well on your own and with others. Skilled at finding and fixing problems quickly and efficiently.
