Job SummaryThe Part-time New Business Coordinator role involves providing a high level of office support for our customers. This includes receiving, reviewing, filing, and submitting various types of paperwork such as contracts, licenses, and applications.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Compile and verify the accuracy of data to be entered. Compare the entered data with the original documents to ensure accuracy. Take necessary actions to ensure the submitted data is complete and accurate.
  • Customer Interaction: Contact customers to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data from the documents they submit.
  • Data Entry: Enter data from documents into the computer following the formats displayed on the screen.
  • Record Keeping: Keep a record of work completed, transmit entered information into the database, and file or route documents after entry.
  • Follow-up: Follow up with the carrier to ensure documentation has been received and all requirements are met in a timely manner.
Primary Skills & Requirements
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly to customer needs, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Convey a friendly, positive attitude while maintaining professionalism at all times. Maintain confidentiality.
  • Quality Management: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, look for ways to improve and promote quality, and monitor own work to ensure quality.
  • Oral Communication: Listen and get clarification, respond well to questions. Organizational Support: Follow policies and procedures, complete administrative tasks correctly and on time, and support the organization's goals and values.
  • Judgement: Exhibit sound and accurate judgement, include appropriate people in the decision-making process.
  • Planning/Organization: Use time efficiently and complete work in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work 28 hours per week.
