Team Leader - Med/Surg Telemetry - 7416-10197 Memorial Medical Center **Description**

The Clinical Nurse Team Leader, under the direction of assigned Department Director, supervises the operations of the department nursing area, its patients population and assigned team members during a designated period of time.

The Clinical Nurse Team Leader assumes responsibility and accountability for organizing, controlling, and implementing department activities and coordinating the activities with other department activities within the hospital. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.

**Qualifications**

Minimum Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing program. BSN preferred.

Minimum Experience: Three (3) years experience in s supervisor capacity preferred. RN with acute care experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Current New Mexico or compact RN license required. Current CPR required. For Telemetry: ACLS preferred.

For New Hires : Required certification must be obtained with in (1) year of employment. If currently certified, must maintain current certification.

ACLS : is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.

Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
