Soldering Technician, up to $20/hr - Shelby Twp, MI
Are you looking for your next opportunity? Do you have any soldering experience? Are you looking for the next step in your career? If so, look no further!
Qualifications
- Identify good and bad solder connections based on industry quality standards of IPC or equivalent.
- Soldering and touch-up of through-hole components.
- Rework of through-hole components once qualified.
- Soldering and rework of surface mount components on printed circuit boards once qualified.
- Reliably produce quality workmanship consistent with IPC or equivalent standards.
- Manual inspection of surface mount components using a microscope
Skills
- Minimum of one year of electronic soldering experience or successful completion of internal solder training
- IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows based computers, MS Word and Excel preferred
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 3:30pm-12am, Mon-Fri. In this position, you’d be mainly responsible for soldering electrical components. This is a great opportunity with a very large company that wants you to stay with them for the long haul!
