WorkDynamX is Hiring an Office Administrator Near Newark, NJ

Position: Office Administrator/Manager

Position Type: Permanent

Location: Newark, NJ

Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (1/2 hour lunch)

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle weekly payroll, support the HR function, and work closely with the Sales and Operations team. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of office management systems are essential. Experience with QuickBooks and certified payroll is advantageous but not required.

What you will be doing:

  • Handle weekly payroll process.
  • Manage all administrative aspects of HR, including maintaining employee records and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales and Operations team, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
  • Oversee office management systems and procedures to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage office equipment such as printers, scanners, and other necessary tools.
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks effectively and maintain strong follow-up skills, especially with subcontractors.

What experience we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word) is essential.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is helpful but not required.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and motivated.
  • Punctual with the ability to multitask.
  • Strong follow-up skills with subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, such as printers and scanners.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Prior experience in handling payroll and HR administrative tasks highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a support role for sales and operations teams highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of certified payroll procedures highly preferred.
