Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Content Writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content related to health and wellness benefits specifically tailored for gig workers. This includes writing for social media, marketing emails, digital content and more. If you have a passion for producing compelling content and a strong understanding of the gig economy, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality, engaging content across various platforms as it relates to the gig economy and health insurance benefits
• Craft content highlighting the importance of health and wellness benefits for gig workers
• Develop and execute targeted content marketing initiatives for gig workers
• Edit and proofread content to maintain clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams to integrate content into effective and productive campaigns
• Generate innovative ideas to enhance engagement and support gig workers' needs
• Create compelling social media posts to increase awareness and engagement within the gig community
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities for relevant content creation.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with New York City - This work requires an understanding of the experience of living, commuting and working in New York and engaging with a population-based in New York City.
• University degree in English, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
• Proven work experience as a content writer, specifically with respect to the health insurance industry and gig workers. 
• Strong understanding of the gig economy and the unique needs of gig workers.
• Proficient in MS Office, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Suite.
• Proficiency in creating content for various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and websites.
• Understanding of email marketing and web publishing requirements related to the healthcare industry and insurance benefits
• Knowledge and experience within the US healthcare system is a huge plus.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Benefits:

• Pay: $20-$35 per hour
• Expected Hours: 8-20 hours per week
