Job Position: Machine Operator Location: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 Pay Rate: $19.00-$24.00/hr DOE Shift: 2nd Shift Description: Learns to independently set up 25% and operate 100% of the machine groups in the respective area. Opens and closes each job Loads wire efficiently and safely using appropriate tools and removes empty spools Measures and inspects the wire quality throughout each step of the set up process Operates all testing equipment including: micrometers, calipers, etc. Demonstrates and installs machine tooling Sets up machines, adjusts tooling, sets parameters for each job Assists leads and supervisors with teaching and training Machine Operators with day-to-day responsibilities Learns to complete basic troubleshooting and adjustments to machines Demonstrates the ability to preform wire rejection procedures Participates in cross departmental work production based on business needs Learns and upholds defined quality standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and optimize work efficiency Strives to achieve t4am and individual specified production targets Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing or related environment Mechanical experience including: operation or high speed automatic and semi-automatic equipment required Set up and adjustment of mental forming processes (stamping, forming, shearing) required Experience troubleshooting production equipment and ability to identify machine problems required Experience measuring parts with prevision instruments including: micrometers, digital calipers, etc Pass required exam of math and English
