- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Simultaneously manages multiple workstreams and projects.
- Conducts cost analysis, estimating expected costs for the project.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Motivates team members and manages conflict within the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Reports project status to company leadership through project update meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry Experience preferred
- PMP Certification preferred
- 5 years of experience with progressive responsibilities in project management role
- Leadership qualities such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
- Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting
- Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point capabilities
- Proven track record of executing multiple projects simultaneously
