The Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers by coordinating and dispatching truck drivers. This role requires a customer service-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers, truck drivers, and others
• Schedule and dispatch truck drivers to pick up and deliver goods.
• Monitor the progress of drivers and update customers on expected delivery times.
• Coordinate with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information and equipment to complete their deliveries.
• Track and update records of deliveries, including any changes or delays.
• Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate records and files related to dispatch and customer service activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or dispatch preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with transportation industry terminology and practices.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of 8 hours per day on the first shift. The Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative will work in an office setting and may be required to sit for extended periods of time.
1st Shift $18.00 - $20/hour to start.
