WorkSolved Staffing is Hiring a Customer Service / Dispatch Near Center, MI
The Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers by coordinating and dispatching truck drivers. This role requires a customer service-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
Answer incoming phone calls and emails from customers, truck drivers, and others
Schedule and dispatch truck drivers to pick up and deliver goods.
Monitor the progress of drivers and update customers on expected delivery times.
Coordinate with drivers to ensure they have the necessary information and equipment to complete their deliveries.
Track and update records of deliveries, including any changes or delays.
Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records and files related to dispatch and customer service activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service or dispatch preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with transportation industry terminology and practices.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
* Working Conditions: This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of 8 hours per day on the first shift. The Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative will work in an office setting and may be required to sit for extended periods of time. 1st Shift $18.00 - $20/hour to start. Interested Apply today!
