REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma / GED
* Minimum 1 year experience working in a certified childcare center
* Enrolled in the Oregon Criminal Registry
* Customer service a must to work directly with parents, community partners, and management daily.
* Experience developing curriculum for Early Childhood Education
* Maintain all required state of Oregon certifications for Teacher in accordance to OAR 414-300-0100
PREFERRED:
* STEP 10 or above on the Oregon Registry Steps
JOB DUTIES:
* Clean and sanitize assigned classroom tables, chairs and changing stations with approved provided cleaner/sanitizing solution.
* Change and wash bed linen as appropriate when soiled.
* Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
* Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
* Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
HOURS:
* Full-time position, 40 hours a week.
* The center is open Monday to Friday, 6 am to 6 pm; actual hours of teaching may vary daily, based on need
