REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a certified childcare center
• Enrolled in the Oregon Criminal Registry
• Customer service a must to work directly with parents, community partners, and management daily.
• Experience developing curriculum for Early Childhood Education
• Maintain all required state of Oregon certifications for Teacher in accordance to OAR 414-300-0100

PREFERRED :

STEP 10 or above on the Oregon Registry Steps

JOB DUTIES :

• Clean and sanitize assigned classroom tables, chairs and changing stations with approved provided cleaner / sanitizing solution.
• Change and wash bed linen as appropriate when soiled.
• Provide a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play.
• Observe and evaluate children's performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.

HOURS :

• Full-time position, 40 hours a week.
