ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for assisting the Supply Line Manager in the procurement/management of purchase requisitions, parts inventory and service, as well as streamlining the reverse logistics spares supply chain to improve inventory health/DOI. In this role, you will drive continuous improvement with suppliers & on-site warehouse to improve quality, data integrity, and supply chain inventory health. Additional opportunity to work on optimization of supplier logistics, delivery performance and system improvements.
**This is an assignment position (not permanent) with the expected duration of at least one year**
REQUIREMENTS
* 3-5 years of experience working in supply chain management.
* Strong background in all MS office applications including Outlook, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
* Advanced Excel skills including creating pivot tables and utilizing v-lookups.
* Strong verbal and written Communication Skills.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Skills to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work with different levels of management and customers.
* Excellent problem-solving skills & willingness to learn and collaborate in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
* Preferred computer skills include SAP/WIINGS/SIMI.
* HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
PREFERENCES:
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
JOB DUTIES:
* Monitoring and resolving various supply chain performance issues
* Purchase order fulfillment
* Expediting late parts/zero bin items
* Addressing settlement issues, good receipt/invoice receipt, and reconciliations (including TSM/SIMI recon)
* Data entry
* Following up on past due orders
* Issuing part numbers for new parts
* Inventory parts set up and management
* Other activities as needed in support of the Supply Line Management team.
HOURS:
* Hours per Week: 40
* Full Time
* Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
* Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 at home
