Sanitation Technicians are responsible for the daily sanitation of the facility and machinery used to produce product.
Minimum Requirements:
- Eighteen (18) years of age
- One (1) month experience as a sanitation worker (janitor)
Employer Notes:
- Available to work any shift and weekends if needed
- Frequently required to talk, hear and communicate with others
- Frequently sit, walk, bend, and squat
- Sit and perform work on a computer or at a desk
- Use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
- Food safety - Allergen awareness; equipment and line cleaning; Notify management of any food safety Issue; Aware of empowerment to act to resolve Food Safety issues within the scope of work; Conform to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
- Run dishwashing machine
- Maintain work areas, equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Washes pots, pans, buckets and trays by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine
- Disassemble manufacturing lines
- Clean and sanitize parts and equipment. Keep parts organized by machine
- Sweep and mop floors
- Washes and sanitizes equipment
- Pressure wash equipment using industrial pressure washer
- Follow and improve area processes
- Understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that pertain to your area
- Understand allergens
- Understand and follow all GMP, SQF, HAACP, BBP and Food Defense policies
- Learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Work in a team environment.
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Other tasks as assigned
Hours:
Shift 2: 5 pm to 5 am Sunday - Wednesday
Shift 3: 5 am to 5 pm Wednesday - Saturday
Shift 4: 5 pm to 5 am Wednesday - Saturday
Pay
Starting at $16.50 ($2.50 shift differential for night shift)
Job Type: Full-time
