Bill Fick Ford is looking to hire a new Service Technician that specializes in Air Conditioning and Electrical !

What you bring:

• High school diploma or GED
• Although equivalent education/experience will be considered, ideally you have at least 1 year of relevant experience and/or training
• Operator Driver’s License
• Ford A/C and Elictrical Certifications
• Solid skills, Team Player attitude, and a strong work ethic

What you’ll be doing:

• Examine and diagnose vehicles with specialization in A/C, Trim, and Electrical concerns
• Discuss cause of failure and repair procedure with Service Advisor
• Provide labor estimates and communicate additional service requests to the Service Advisor
• Plan work in cooperation with Service Advisor and/or Service Manager
• Monitor repair time and update Service Advisor
• Perform retest/roadtest in order to verify that the repair is fixed correctly the first time and no additional concerns are present.
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Attend company and factory training and keep current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste)
