Tasks:
Order Management/Customer Service
Ø Ensure execution of customer-service standards
Ø Processing daily orders to ensure orders are booked and shipped timely and accurately
o Includes sample orders, customer orders, returns, donations, EDI orders
Ø Resolve pricing discrepancies with sales managers, customers and/or brokers at time of order
Ø Ensure orders meet minimum quantity requirements (MOQ’s), and lead time requirements
Ø Resolve order issues and escalate where appropriate throughout the life of the order
Ø Research order information on external warehouse and customer websites
Ø Resolve billing and shipping issues
Ø Work with management and interdepartmentally on escalated customer account concerns
Ø Research and resolve any order/pricing related deductions to deny with customers or approve for clearing in our system
Other
Ø Act as backup to monitor customer service mailbox to distribute incoming requests as necessary
Ø Act as backup to create PO’s for direct drop ship orders
Ø Act as backup to resolve system issues with incoming EDI orders
Ø Act as backup for all areas of the customer service team
Ø Work with multiple audit teams to supply required departmental information or documents
Skills/Qualifications:
Ø Customer Service/processing experience required
Ø Familiarity with Oracle is highly desired
Ø Must be very organized, detail oriented, neat, polite and professional
Ø Excellent process management skills
Ø Excellent business math skills
Ø Must be computer literate including a proficiency with Excel
