Our add-on HR packages provide clients with access to Benefits Administration, Leave Administration, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management technology solutions, and the HR expertise to provide ongoing support to clients on an outsourced basis.

WPHR services small and middle-market companies throughout the United States. Job Summary : The UKG Ready Human Resources Specialist is responsible for assisting Payroll and HR outsourcing clients in providing effective HR recommendations and driving and delegating HR priorities, such as managing benefit programs, developing employee handbooks and job descriptions, and other transactional HR functions.

The HR Generalist builds strong relationships with clients and trusted advisory support based on the World Payroll & HR scope of services with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal stakeholders, insurance carriers, and third-party vendors.

Responsibilities include : Function as a resource and advisor on HR matters; provide recommendations to clients regarding HR best practices.

Oversee and coordinate employee life cycles, such as onboarding, job descriptions, benefits enrollment, performance management, employee relations, leave of absence, offboarding, and other HR-related tasks.

Oversee and coordinate client-specific projects, including HR strategy, handbook and policy developments, HR assessments, and HR check-ups.

Assist worksite employee benefits administration including but not limited to enrolling new hires in coverages, terminating employees from coverages, and answering general benefit information questions.

Assist clients with annual Benefits Open Enrollment either in person or virtually. Including but not limited to working as a liaison between client and broker during the enrollment period by completing census requests and providing communication, compliance notices, and benefits guides to employees.

Set up carrier connections through a third-party administrator system / solution. Partner with Payroll Technicians on client payroll matters, including setting up employee deductions in UKG Payroll Assist clients in managing Workers’ Comp Claims which includes communicating with and providing info to employees, clients, doctors, and claim administrators.

Administer worksite employees’ leave of absence requests including creating / preparing notifications, letters, approval determination, and time off tracking / administration.

Process COBRA notices through third-party administrator system / solution. Develop and deliver written and oral HR communications to clients and worksite employees, as needed.

Prepare and assist clients with annual EEO-1 reporting. Stay abreast of federal, state, and local laws, as well as HR best practices, current trends, and technology.

Using Zywave to communicate Federal and State Employment Law Communications with clients and training clients on how to take advantage of Zywave.

Qualifications : Work Experience Required 1 years working in a HR Generalist Role 1 years of experience with UKG Ready or Kronos 1 years of experience in HR Outsourcing or client-facing roles Professional Licenses / Certifications Preferred PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Essential Skills / Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, insurance carriers, third-party vendors, and internal stakeholders.
