What the Senior Tax Accountant will do…
- Assist with the preparation of the federal consolidated tax return
- Prepare federal and state partnership and LLC tax returns
- Prepare and review multistate income and franchise tax returns (combined/unitary as well as separate state income tax returns)
- Assist with the preparation and review of the Company's consolidated quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations
- Assist with IRS and state tax authority audits
- Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly estimated income tax payments
- Perform tax research and analysis on special projects as needed
- Identify and implement federal and state tax planning opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diverse US federal and state & local tax legislation and US GAAP financial statement reporting requirements for taxes (ASC 740)
What the company needs in an Senior Tax Accountant:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 3.0 GPA or higher
- CPA is a big PLUS
- 1-3 years experience in tax in public accounting or corporate tax
- Self-starter, communicator, good interpersonal skills
