World Medical Group Primary Care Office is currently seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our exceptional team. We require individuals who are dedicated, enthusiastic, and friendly. Previous experience as a medical referrals and terminology (including medications) and familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems are essential.

Situated in SW Fort Worth and South Arlington, our private practice is expanding rapidly. The responsibilities of the Referral Coordinator include verifying insurance benefits (including copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses) efficiently and accurately, processing referrals, answering phones, scheduling appointments, collecting payments (including copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and out-of-pocket expenses), maintaining check-in paperwork and medical records, and other duties necessary for ensuring smooth referral processing along with check-in and checkout operations.

Qualifications

- Medical administrative support experience

- Ability to chart vitals, medications, HPI, Patient histories, etc.

- Phlebotomy skills

- Certified Medical Assistant

- Patient service skills

- Office experience, including front desk duties

- Processing billing and payments, using medical software

- Knowledge of EHR systems is a plus (eCW preferred)

- Strong familiarity with medical terminology and medical records

- Comprehensive understanding of Medication terminology, usage and refill protocols

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems

- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and always maintaining information confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.67 - $16.36 per hour

Experience:

  • Insurance verification: 2 years (Required)
  • Medical billing: 1 year (Preferred)
