World Vision is now hiring for Warehouse Operations Manager .

01 At a Glance

Role : Warehouse Operations Manager

Schedule : Full-time. 40 hours per week. The schedule is 7-4 or 8-5 PM, MON-FRI.

Job Design : Receiving and processing shipment returns 50%, pulling and shipping orders 30%, inventory accuracy 10%, technology 10%.

Required Experience : 2-year technical or junior college degree or 4 years of equivalent work experience. In addition, this role requires 3-5 years of work experience in a warehouse / distribution center, preferably including supervisory work experience.

Working knowledge of and experience with Inventory Management Systems and related electronic devices common in warehouse / distribution environments is required.

Preferred Experience : Any previous experience in warehouse logistics or serving in a supervisory capacity involving independent decision-making.

In addition, you’re comfortable using technology for updating things like the various software programs that run on our supply of iPads, MiFi, and mobile phones.

Also, a high enough degree of tech-savviness for performing other responsibilities like inventory management with our CRM and 3

party shipping platforms. Microsoft 365 proficiency with popular apps like Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Salary Range : The full pay range is $30.83-$47.41 / hour . The typical hiring range is $33-40 / hour. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity.

Working in the role of Warehouse Operations Manager your expertise will be brought to bear on work that is close to the heart of God (in the spirit of Matthew 25 : 34-40).

Working out of our warehouse in Franklin, Tennessee see yourself shipping and receiving the materials and technology used by the teams that organize on-site fundraising events for our Artists, Church, Team World Vision, and our Ignite Program for Schools.

03 What success looks like

  • You successfully complete your new employee training which will be conducted hands-on and in real-time to include familiarization with our inventory and work processes.
  • Once trained, you demonstrate the ability to meet the rapidly increasing demands of our operation including being an integral part of helping us meet customer needs during peak periods in our business cycle.
  • You demonstrate an ongoing aptitude and curiosity for technology and see the importance of it in our fundraising support efforts.

As an example, you show a commitment to staying current on the technology tools that we supply to the organization for fundraising events (i.

e. mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and the various software used by the business).

Once fully trained to perform the job, you show initiative and often work independently or self-directed. You’re found to have suggestions on ways to improve or enhance the ways we work and serve the organization.

As issues or blockers arise, you raise them and play an active part in contributing to the solutions that help solve them in a timely manner.
