Job Description

Connectivity Point Design and Installation is currently seeking a full-time Project Installation and Planning Coordinator that supports our deployment solutions division.

The primary responsibilities of this role include assisting with or managing the oversight of project life cycle to include initiation, planning, execution, controlling and closing, taking project through final implementation. Managing customer inventory that is ordered, tracked and supplied to the field technicians as well as assisting with network and point of sale hardware installation, maintenance and service. This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Auburn Maine.

RESPONSIBILITIES: *

  • Interact with customer personnel to obtain information/equipment needed for work to be performed.
  • Stage customer provided hardware for pickup by field deployment technicians.
  • Manage customer inventory and identify shortages where applicable and notify customer.
  • Create and update project documents using Microsoft office suite products.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, technicians, coworkers and sub-contractors.
  • Inventory and store hardware returned by field technicians or provided by the customer.
  • Enter serial numbers and hardware information into the customer database.
  • General understanding of project scope and objectives.
  • Assist in managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Image hardware as needed following customer provided instructions and guidance from others.
  • Provide a third layer of field support as needed.
  • Follow best practices and ensure that requirements are met and documented.
  • Performs other duties as assigned*

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Self-starter who is organized and willing to partner with people across the organization to get information and update project plans.
  • Solid level of understanding of PC components, PC hardware, and associated software. A certification is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, communication standards, and installation preferred but not required.
  • Experience with construction and adherence to large and small project scheduling preferred but not required.
  • Highly organized and analytical skills.
  • Strong technical and computer skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office suite products.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to perform inventory management functions.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.
