Seeking Experienced Tax Specialist in Philadelphia

Join a dynamic team at a global, leading organization, specializing in ensuring financial compliance and accuracy through expert tax management. Our client is seeking a Tax Specialist to oversee tax activities across the US and Canada, ensuring adherence to regulations and optimizing financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex transactions to ensure proper tax treatment.
  • Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns for US and Canada.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual tax provision processes, including effective tax rate analysis.
  • Coordinate responses to tax audits, inquiries, and notices.
  • Stay updated on US & Canada tax laws, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Manage local Transfer Pricing reports for US and Canada.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for tax filings and provisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, taxation, or related field.
  • CPA qualification preferred.
  • 4 years of tax experience in corporate or public accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SAP and tax software (e.g., Longview, Vertex) preferred.
  • Experience in process improvements, automation, and ERP system conversions is a plus.
  • Work a hybrid schedule in downtown Philadelphia
