WorldQuant is looking for an exceptional business management support intern to join our team. The role will sit in a chief of staff function and report to head of business management. You will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization such as engineering teams, HR and Finance. Your day to day will vary from assisting in establishing processes, analyzing data to determine actionable insights, collating operational metrics, assisting with communication events planning ( such as town halls, learning series, newsletters) and maintaining the team’s intranet site. We seek an entrepreneurial, motivated candidate who has a passion for technology and business management.
Impact: Like most internships, you will work on a real world problem that the organization deems critical to accomplish its goals. Learn how to translate the skills you’ve honed in the classroom to the real world. Generate a new vantage point on how to apply what you learn and contribute more unique, informed viewpoints during class. You will draw more out of your academic training by interpreting and applying what you’ve learned in a more innovative way.
What You’ll Bring

• Pursuing a degree in a quantitative, technical or business discipline, such as data science or business administration; Strong GPA & SAT scores
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with Tableau or Apptio and Confluence
• Experience with handling large amount of data
• Knowledge of Python or other programming and scripting languages is helpful but not required
• Demonstrated excellence in your chosen field of study
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Mature, thoughtful, with the ability to operate in a collaborative, team-oriented culture
• Be self-motivated and take initiative; ask thoughtful questions to achieve desired results
