Immigration Attorney Job Summary-

We are looking for an experienced immigration attorney and result-driven leader to join our growing team. As an immigration attorney, you will have responsibilities with both clients (health care providers) and candidates (healthcare professionals immigrating to the USA). With clients, you will assist them in navigating the immigration process, supporting them to hire a variety of different types of healthcare workers on various visa types.

The position reports to the Director of Legal Services. Within the organization, the position has primary working relationships with the legal team, internal client managers, members of our team in the Philippines and with clients.

Responsibilities

Principle Accountabilities

  • Provide leadership to a growing in-house team
  • Correspond with potential clients during the intake process and maintain regular communication with existing clients for active cases;
  • Provide legal analysis for clients to determine any possible case benefits
  • Primary work is with EB-3, H1B, OPT, TN, F1 and F2 visas
  • Prepare immigration petitions and responses to Requests for Evidence, Motions to Reconsider, Responses to Notices of Intent to Deny;
  • Oversee and lead various projects and deadlines
  • Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions
  • Stay current with governmental and regulatory requirements regarding immigration policies;
  • Develop solutions to complex legal questions

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • JD degree
  • Five years of legal experience with at least two years in immigration law
  • Solid writing and verbal communication skills
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to effectively multitask
  • Active Bar license (in a good standing)
  • Active in bar association(s)
