Pre-Construction Project Executive
The Pre-Construction Project Executive is a part of our pre-construction team reporting to the Vice President of Preconstruction. The success of our company starts with our Preconstruction team securing our partnerships and lining up future work. In this role, you are responsible for securing quotes, creating budgets and taking part in our customer relations. This position requires collaboration with our estimating team of engineers, architects, owners and our VDC department.
Responsibilities of the Pre-Construction Project Executive include, but are not limited to:
- Participate in a project design build/assist team successfully and collaboratively to assist in the design for a constructable mechanical system.
- Establish and maintain high quality relationships with clients acting as a liaison for customers during all phases of a project.
- Secure quotes for equipment, trade partners, piping, labor and various other materials to create a conceptual budget for a project to present to customers.
- Review project documents for completeness and accuracy during pre-construction phases of a project.
- Present and explain budgets, challenges, schedules and other project updates in an organized and developed manner to both customers and operations teams.
- Responsibility of owning billings and cost procedures during pre-construction phase of work.
- Creation of proposals for all potential projects in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 5 years in mechanical or plumbing design or relevant experience.
- Knowledge and clear understanding of the construction industry specifically regarding HVAC and Plumbing design
- Experience in Business Development/Customer relations in the construction industry
- Results and deadline driven team player
- Ability to support design teams by providing necessary guidance to achieve a constructable design for mechanical systems
- Detail Oriented, able to meet timelines with a sense of urgency
- Ability to estimate or provide conceptual budgets mechanical or plumbing systems
