Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing specialized care to oncology patients, demonstrating expertise in suture techniques, medical-surgical practices, home community care, physiology knowledge, medication administration, sonography, anatomy knowledge, infant care, senior care, and case management. The role requires a detail-oriented individual committed to delivering high-quality patient care in an oncology setting.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy treatments and other medications as prescribed.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to oncology patients.
- Utilize suture skills for wound care and post-operative management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management.
- Utilize sonography for diagnostic purposes and assist in procedures as needed.
- Manage patient cases from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up care.
- Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages with a focus on individualized needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with a background in Oncology nursing.
- Proficiency in suture techniques and wound care management.
- Experience in medical-surgical practices and home community care.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medication administration.
- Familiarity with sonography for diagnostic purposes.
- Prior experience in infant care, senior care, or case management is advantageous.
