Wright Investments is currently recruiting for the position of Construction Project Coordinator for our Corporate Office in Memphis, TN.

DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION:

Provide technical, administrative, and analytical support to the executive-level Development team, comprised of the President & CEO, VP of Construction, and Chief Operating Officer.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Monitor and track all aspects of each project(s) life cycle, including budget tracking and CPMs, and provide updates to the team as well as to other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Holds the primary role in the management of bidder’s documents, invoicing, contracts, account maintenance, renovation forecast budgets, and RFP preparation.
  • Manage vendor accounts including W-9 verification, lien waivers, and insurance requirements.
  • Perform applicable accounting functions related to the project, including credit applications, invoicing, cost coding, vendor verification, change orders, contractor pay, bank draws, job cost reports, coordinate payment schedules with A/P, and process capital invoices. Enter information into applicable software program(s). Update as appropriate.
  • Prepare various reports and communications that clarify and confirm decision-making meetings such as meeting notes, routine correspondence, Project Management Agreements and Contracts, and weekly conference calls.
  • Prepare expense reports for members of the Construction team.
  • Ensure day-to-day vendor relationship management occurs with appropriate parties such as consultants, vendors, banks, architects, procurement firms, and subcontractors.
  • Assists with site visits to monitor active projects and the final “punch” inspection.
  • Other duties as needed, required, asked, or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prefer 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Construction or Business-related focus.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Franchise Hospitality related projects, specifically with a focus on renovations, preferred.
  • Familiarity with major branded hotel construction processes and standards preferred.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Proficient in AIA draw applications.
  • Based in Memphis, Tennessee, or the immediate area. Minimal travel may be required based on current projects.
