Acoustical Engineer Consultant (10 Years)

The ideal candidate will have a robust work history encompassing management or oversight of individuals engaged in consulting services for both external and internal clients, utilizing advanced acoustical engineering technical skills. Strong proficiency in sound level monitoring, vibration calculations and measurements, and sound modeling software is highly desirable. A profound interest in the science of sound, noise, and vibration is essential. This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate as a team player within a burgeoning acoustical group, working on diverse projects across the globe for various clients.

The position offers a hybrid work model, with staff required to be in-person three days a week (minimum) and the option to work remotely two days a week. The current optional remote workdays are Thursday and Friday, with periodic reassessment of these guidelines.

In this Role You Will:

• Evaluate and devise solutions for noise and vibration control challenges.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary engineering design team to integrate acoustically appropriate design and detailing.
• Conduct acoustical modeling, analysis, and testing.
• Prepare reports, letters, and other documents summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Manage project schedules and budgets effectively.

This position does not qualify for sponsorship and offers paid overtime at 1.0 times the hourly rate. Additionally, a competitive end-of-year discretionary bonus is awarded based on company, team, and individual performance. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to Acoustics (Acoustical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
• Higher degree such as a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
• INCE Board Certification or Professional Engineering licensure is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Acoustical Engineering or Acoustical Consulting.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
