Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and other equipment
- Use hand tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to measure and inspect parts
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished products
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes
Qualifications:
- Experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metalworking
- Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely
- Basic machining knowledge
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
