Job Duties

• Performs maintenance while using heavy equipment (occasionally working in tight fitting spaces).
• Works quickly and effectively.
• Disassembles and reassembles go karts.
• Repair and maintain facilities.
• Lifts and transports machines and equipment.
• Uses hand tools to fix machines.
• Keeps records of all repairs.
• Conducts tests on machines.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully takes direction from manager.
• Supplies own basic tools to perform maintenance.
• Other duties as assigned.

 Education & Experience

One to ­three year(s) related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical,

Electronics, and related repair experience is required. Knowledge of how to use a digital multi-meter is preferred. 

Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations

This position requires a valid insurable Driver’s License and a safe reliable vehicle.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Computer Skills

Has basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places; outdoor weather conditions; wet or humid conditions (non-weather). The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper equipment. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position is based in Gresham Oregon but requires occasional driving to other locations for up to 25% of the position.
