Position Summary:To provide direct interface between customer experience and manufacturing operations. Identify customer pain point area that are caused by Wurtec products / processes, investigate, root cause and implement corrective action of those issues to better align Wurtec to a Global Class Supplier status. Support Inside/Outside Sales and Tech. Support teams in investigating issues and driving corrective action to improve Wurtec products / processes.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Promote and demonstrate Wurtec’s core values (dedication, hard work, ambition, willingness to accept responsibility, and integrity).
- In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to customer satisfaction and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Ensure compliance (audit) and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO9001)
- Manage quality-related issues brought forth by the Wurtec Sales & Technical Support Teams, the Customer and Customer Warranty issues.
- Analyze quality related data (RMA Data, Warranty Data, etc.) to identify trends and react to those trends by facilitating product / process continuous improvement activities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to investigate, root cause, and resolve reported quality issues as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products
- Lead quality improvement initiatives by utilizing PDCA methodology throughout the organization.
- Effectively interact in a cross functional team environment to maintain product supply and help introduce new products
- Collaborate with the Customer, Wurtec Inside & Outside Sales and Technical Support to identify and drive improvement in products / processes before, during and after the sale of products
- Point Quality contact for Wurtec Branch locations
- Identify relevant quality related training needs and deliver the training.
- Full-time/in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

- Strong computer skills, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience working in a defined, robust Quality Management System (ISO-9001, AS-9100/9120, TS-16949 or similar)
- Experience in Human Error Prevention methodology desired.
- Demonstrated experience working with contract manufacturers, distributors, and customers
- Detail oriented, flexible, and exhibit effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Works effectively both independently and as a team.
- Utilizes creative thinking skills to identify problems and develop solutions.
- Works in a time effective manner and follows systematic approaches and conducts appropriate follow-up.
- Service and detail oriented.
- Can take directions and provide back-up support where needed.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals.
- A willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development

- Experience in a manufacturing facility.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in a related position
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a combination of education and experience.
- ASQ Certification desired, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience in quality systems / quality system audits
