GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the architecture design for Electrical applications ranging from 12-24V to 1000V. Includes complex engineering project assignments ensuring total delivery of the services on time, within performance budget and quality expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Define and develop power distribution product concepts using WE ICS product portfolio that fulfill or exceed the customer requirements.
2. Technical responsibility for the product development (concept to series) of high-voltage assemblies (60V-1000V) for power distribution products.
3. Creation of block diagrams and electrical circuit diagrams.
4. Bill of Material selection.
5. Organization and execution of own sub-projects with internal interface and external partners.
6. Creation of technical requirements for production.
7. Creation of specifications taking into account technical requirements management.
8. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
9. Provide technical leadership to the sales team during the project acquisition phase.
10. Prepare and present customer concept presentations.
11. Provide product consultation for customers in the areas of complete power distribution system design, protection & control design.
12. Travel as required in support of sales and marketing.
13. Other activities as required.

Excellent computer skills including word processing, internet, databases and spreadsheets.

Ability to manage several assignments simultaneously.

Team player with organizational skills, and ability to work with distractions.

Education and Experience:

Musts:

1. B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering degree
2. Experience with electrical component selection
3. Experience reading electrical specification materials and datasheets
4. Experience creating and maintaining BOMs
5. Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
6. Experience creating technical documentation (manuals, work instructions, tech specs, etc.)

Preferred:

1. Ability to read simple mechanical drawings
2. 3 years of project management and or development experience in a high voltage components power distribution manufacturing environment. (OBC, Inverter, DC-DC Converter, PDU)
3. Experience in electrical hardware manufacturing and test. Power electronics design study focus will be a plus.
4. Experience in electronic hardware manufacturing and test.
